It is an adventure story about rescuing Coco, a very special Pomeranian lost at sea, and the pursuit to rescue him.

Brian Reindel created the many colorful illustrations bringing all the characters to life.

About the author…
Jill Johnson is a first-time author. Originally from England, Jill likes to say she grew up like a hobbit in a tiny English town with a population of 80 people. She grew up near the coast and spent many happy hours by the sea. As a child she loved to write and make up stories, and as a young woman she churned out dozens of stories a week in letters shared with family and friends. 

Later she became penpals with her late husband before she joined him here in America. He had a captain’s license, and they enjoyed many years at sea during their 35-year marriage.

Jill and her sister-in-law Mandy enjoy a wonderful and jokey relationship. Jill says, “There’s just something about Mandy that brings out the pest in me. We were cruising and began telling silly stories about our relationship and began to involve other friends and family and our favorite pet dogs. Mandy and Chippy was born of that silliness.”
